So, here’s the billion dollar question . . .
Why do so many talented people fall short?
In my humble opinion, when talented people fail, it is always because they lack that one crucial ingredient that every winner must possess – FOCUS.
Think about it.
How many times has this scenario happened to you?
You set a personal development goal. Make $15,000 in a month – Gain 10 pounds of muscle – Land a promotion. This goal could be literally anything that you desire deeply.
Then, you face the mirror, look yourself in the eyes and promise yourself that you will not give up until your goal is completed. Several times a day you imagine yourself achieving your goal so that you can see the picture of your success in your mind. You might even record the goal into your daily journal. You are not fucking around. You will manhandle this goal. No excuses.
Then, after a couple of weeks of work and improvement, you lose motivation, boredom sets in and you just quit. Maybe you try to return to your goal later on, but it’s no use, because too much time has passed. It’s like starting from scratch. You’ve lost your rhythm. So, you just quite yet again.
Has this happened to you?
It’s happened to me hundreds of times.
After repeating the sad cycle of … set goal – quit – set goal – quit -set goal – quit – … so many times, it is hard not to feel like a failure. You may even start to believe that you are just not cut out for long-term goals. Unfortunately, you may start to believe that you are a naturally lazy person.
But I don’t believe that is true. As I said earlier, I believe that the problem can be defined by a lack of focus.
If you are a person who struggles to stick to his or her self-improvement plans, I want you to ask yourself these questions (and answer them honestly!)…
- Does your mind hop uncontrollably from thought to thought?
- Do you stop working as soon as you feel tired (even when you promised yourself you wouldn’t)
- Do you have an ironic attention span? Meaning that you are easily bored, yet interested in everything at the same time?
- Do you feel like you’re being tortured when performing dull, tedious work even when that work will lead to money and a valuable reward?
If you’re nodding your head in agreement, you lack focus.
Which is a big deal. Intelligence, creativity, knowledge and domain specific skills count for nothing if not combined with a foundation of healthy focus.
I didn’t always believe this. Like so many young people, I once believed that raw talent would get me to the promise land. However, after I started using nootropics I realized that talent is overrated. It came to me like an epiphany. Harnessing the power of my natural concentration wells is the key to getting EXACTLY what I want in life.
And it’s true. What good is talent if you can only be talented in short bursts? All it takes is enough time, and a less talented person will catch up and kick your ass.
Trust me, I know how frustrating life is when you struggle to hunker down and focus. For years I tried to fix my mind through meditation. I was not successful. Despite a deep desire to harness laser concentration I was still scatterbrained.
The worst part is that it simply does not matter how bad you want something. If you can’t control your mental energy, everything you do is going to be less pleasant.
I use to think that I was doomed forever.
But I’m happy to tell you that focus is no longer a problem for me. It took time, effort and trial and error, but I finally slayed the unfocused demons inside my head. Thanks to nootropics I am more focused than most people I know.
Since 2007 I’ve used dozens of different nootropics with varying results.
One of my favorites has been a nootropic called Red Focus made by the company Red Supplements.
A crazy thing happened the first time I used Red Focus. It worked. A sense of intense motivation overcame my being. Procrastination was no longer attractive. My drive became intense. Important work was getting done and I didn’t feel the need to pause every half hour to freshen my coffee thermos. Red Focus changed the game.
Now, don’t get it twisted. Red Focus is not the most powerful nootropic I’ve ever used. I’ve taken adderall, Ritalin, modafinil, vyvanse and many more prescription ADHD medications which greatly improve one’s cognitive abilities.
But until Red Focus I’d never used an all natural, non-regulated nootropic that delivered results. Most all natural nootropics are junk. They simply don’t work. If you’ve ever wasted your cash on a bottle of “brain capsules” or “genius vitamins” you know exactly what I’m talking about.
Red Focus is a diamond in the ruff. The folks at Red Supplements used elite ingredients when creating this supplement.
Check out it’s list of ingredients:
Vitamin B6 – For Metabolism and Cognition
Vitamin B12 – Nerve / blood cell health and DNA creation
Bacopa Leaf – Reduces Anxiety, improve memory
Alpha-GPC – Improve memory and may help prevent dementia
Yerba Mate – Rainforest leaf found in the Amazon. Great for Energy
Theobromine – Dilates blood vessels. Found in chocolate.
PS – aka Phosphatidylserine – Aids cellular health
Vinpocetine – Helps memory formation
Huperzine-A – Improves memory
If you’re a procrastinator who never finishes what he or she starts, you just haven’t found the right cognitive enhancer to suit your biochemical makeup.
Imagine if you could take a capsule to boost your memory, concentration, learning, recall and focus.
How often would you win if you discovered a chemical cocktail that killed your hesitation, allowing you to solve problems with a clear mind?
If you had the ability to become utterly absorbed in the completion of your mission any time you wanted, how much different would your life look?
Here’s the thing – after two tablets of Red Focus I usually experience an unbreakable spell super-focus compelling me to finish the task at hand come hell or high water. That eureka moment when you realize that you’ve been diligently grinding away at the same project with no desire to quit or even take a moments pause is truly astounding, especially if you’ve never experienced it before.
The feeling of power that you experience when you have laser focus is why smart drugs are becoming more popular every year. The dirty secret among rich Americans is that they’re all taking smart drugs like Red Burner. Executives. Silicon Valley billionaires. Best-selling authors. Successful people know what it takes to get to the top: FOCUS.
My favorite thing about Red Focus is it’s price.
I remember my doctor giving me a prescription for Vynyanse (ADD medication). The price tag shocked me. My pharmacist wanted $700. That’s with insurance.
